Join our in-class course and you will gain knowledge and skills on all aspects of creating high-end architectural visualizations. Through this full-time course, you will learn to develop archviz images with the proper conceptual foundations, 3D techniques, and artistic aspects. During the course, you will get solid foundation on 3ds Max 3D modeling software, the V-Ray render engine and Photoshop, so you can start creating stunning images for your projects. And what is the best part – no prior knowledge is required!

Course overview

We have put together this course by gathering years of professional and training experience. We believe that mentorship and the continuous guidance and support of instructors is key to successful practice-based learning. Technical know-how is a crucial outcome of this course, but equally important is to develop artistry. Great emphasis is placed on constant feedback and a lot of practical projects – during the course we will work on a project during the lectures and you will have another, homework project to work on!

Below you can find an overview of the topics covered in the course:

3ds Max Interface

We will kick things off with a quick tour and overview of the interface of 3ds Max and it`s main features. We will focus only on the things you need – no fluff.

Modeling. Splines and Polygons

In this module we will learn about the basics of the modeling techniques and we will exercise them while modeling the building for the course project. We will harness the power of Rail Clone – a powerful plugin that will help us to create complex structures in no time.

Landscape and Forest Pack

We will create the surrounding terrain around our project and will learn how to spread trees and foliage with the help of another powerful plugin – Forest Pack.

Cameras and composition

We will dive in the depths of the artistic composition, so we can create impactful images. We will learn how to create and set up cameras, we will go over the most important properties and when we should use what.

V-Ray

What is V-Ray and how it will take our images on another level? We will be answering this questions and will show you the important elements that you need to know.

Lighting

You will gain knowledge on the ways you can introduce realistic lights in your scenes.

Materials

Materials are one of the most important aspects of the architecture visualizations. So we will need to learn how to create realistic ones.

Final render and Postproduction

We will create our final images and we will learn how to improve the images in Photoshop.
